Wiki Wiki Wiki

I went to the SMSN wiki I was able to get in and contribute. I have completed part of my homework. I haven’t yet completed a wiki of my own, but I need to find people to contribute with me.

Wikis

Well this week hasn’t been so good for the WEB 2.0 course. I tried to do my homework on Tuesday, but I was blocked from both te wetpaint site and the wikispaces site. How frustrating! I have found that some other wikispace pages are not blocked. I assume that they have been unblocked at another school. I looked at Google docs again. I would love to have a go at using it, but I don’t know anyone else who has a log in who I can share with. I will have to post to the Web 2.0 forum.

Well, I have set up my delicious page. I think that over time I will actually use it to keep track of my favourites. I have shown it to some of my students and they seem to get the idea.

Oh, I also used my blog in my year 7 IT class. I posted a question for them to answer. I first had to change the rules so that you can post a comment without an email address. I worked well. I also explained how I am a student to the Web 2.0 course.

Widgets

I have finally figured out how to imbed widgets into my blog. I have put in my Avatar, a calender and a Voki.
It took me a while to create a Voki and imbed it into my blog. I am not even sure that I could explain it to someone else. But I guess I could try. I am not sure exactly how a Voki can be useful, but maybe it is just for fun.
